SERVICES FOR RESIDENTIAL SUITES:

  • Emergency call response - monitoring
  • Weekly assisted tub/shower bath, toenail trimming
  • Daily bed making, provide toilet paper, soap and attendant services

  • Light assistance with personal care (zippers, buttons, shoe lacing, hearing aid batteries)
  • Administration/supervision of medications/treatments as prescribed by a medical doctor 3 times a day or less
  • Multidisciplinary cares - planning - counseling, referrals, family conferences
  • Pre-arrival consultation with nurse
  • Monthly nursing services, blood pressure check, weight monitoring
  • Discharge counseling and referral
  • Housekeeping

  • Weekly general cleaning: vacuum and dust
  • Bi-weekly thorough cleaning: floor surfaces washed, bathroom sanitized, kitchen cleaned (refrigerator, counter tops, and sink)
  • Annual interior and exterior window cleaning
  • Building cleaning, including all common areas per schedule
  • Laundry (Attendants)
  • Provide bed linens (sheets, pillowcases) and weekly change
  • Personal laundry weekly: wash, dry, fold and deliver
  • Iron available for personal use as required
  • Recreation:

  • Full range of activities and social events per monthly calendar and newsletter
  • Transportation: facility-owned coach bus (wheelchair accessible)
  • Some events include a small fee as applicable
  • Health club membership: pool, sauna, whirlpool, strength training centre
  • Evening/weekend activities

    Administration

  • Monthly rental invoices provided
  • Post arrival tour of facilities as requested
  • General enquiries and assistance
  • Canada Post personal mail boxes in lobby
  • Maintenance

  • Provide clean apartment: rug shampooed, freshly painted and cleaned
  • Assistance with move-in; picture hanging, window covering, hardware installation
  • Annual unit inspection and preventative maintenance program
  • On-going repairs and upkeep of the facility
  • Full Meal Plan Includes:

  • Three nutritionally balanced homemade meals daily
  • Choice of two entrées at lunch and supper
  • Three snacks provided daily
  • Tray service for ill residents as authorized by the nurse
